Mr. Billy Wayne Waddell, age 73 of Centre, passed away Tuesday, November 4th at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be 11:AM Friday, November 7th at Hebron Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:PM Thursday.
Pallbearers include Joey Gill, Tim Pope, Jeff Rosser, Hal Waddell, Eddie Waddell, Tony Wilkie.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Joey Williams, Corey Williams, Cade Williams.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Gill Waddell; son, Wayne (Janice) Waddell of Center; daughters, Carol Glenn of Centre, Gay (Eddie) Murray of Piedmont; brothers, Harold Waddell of Rome, GA, Allen Waddell of Rome, GA, Lamar Waddell of Atlanta, GA, Phillip Waddell of Leesburg, Larry Waddell of Cartersville; sisters, Sarah Chambers of Summerville, GA, Joyce Korte of Leesburg, 5 Grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; special brother, Jerry Gill of Rome, GA.
He was preceded in death by sisters, June Chambers, Betty Adams, Lucille Bray, Shirley Williams, Frances Wilkie.
Mr. Waddell was a native of Rome, GA, the son of the late Paul and Vera Lee Minshew Waddell, was an auto mechanic and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
