Mr. Charles Floyd Pierce, age 63 of Centre, passed away Friday, February 27th at Cherokee Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11: AM Monday, March 2nd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. James Rainey and Rev. Ricky Clark officiating; burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8: PM Sunday.
Pallbearers include Chris Hamilton, Cody Hancock, Kevin Bing, Charles Hanson, Michael Burleson, Eddy Holcomb, Craig Farrar, Harold Bishop.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Dene Murphy Pierce; son, Dillon Pierce (Ashley Watson) of Centre, Dewayne (Delina) Pierce of Centre; brother, Stanley (Linda) Pierce; sisters, Barbara (Joe) Dickens, Betty (Charles) Lands, Brenda Holcomb; grandchildren, Madison Pierce, Brandon Pierce.
Mr. Pierce was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Floyd and Violet Ular Gossett Pierce, was a pulp wooder and was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
