Mr. Charlie Roben Crane

Mr. Charlie Roben Crane age, 95 of Pisgah, AL (formerly of the Rinehart Community), died January 26, 2021, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Crane was born November 8, 1925, in Blanche, AL, son of the late Samuel and Berkie Hester Crane.  He was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church # 1 where he had previously served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher.  Mr. Crane was retired from Riegel. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Zula B. “Bobbie” Crane; sister, Geneva Reynolds; brothers, Davis “Buck” Crane and Bobby Crane; sons-in-law, Ronnie Berry and Hugh Leming.

Survivors include his son, Dean (Leslie) Crane; daughters, Debbie Berry, Donna (Terry) Padgett, Dana Leming; a sister, Pat Goodner; grandchildren, Daniel (Carol) Padgett, Dale (Crystal) Padgett, Destin Padgett (Taylor Allison), David Crane, and Soleil Crane; great-grandchildren, Scott Padgett (Ashley Cooper), Paige (Anthony) Padgett; and a great-great-grandchild, Melanie Padgett.

Graveside and interment services will be held at 12:00 Noon (E.S.T.) Friday, January 29, 2021, at Mount Zion Cemetery with Rev. Ronald Berry officiating.  Pallbearers will be Darryl Ray, David Crane, Dale Padgett, Daniel Padgett, and Scott Padgett.

Visitation will be held privately.

The Crane family, along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
