Mr. Curtis Vaughn, age 76 of Centre, passed away Tuesday, April 21st at his residence.
Funeral services will be 4:30 PM Thursday at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Ted Elrod and Tommy Price officiating; burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 4 PM Thursday.
Pallbearers include, Kenneth“Buck” Johnson, Wayne Tumlin, Wade Tumlin,
Honorary Pallbearers will be Henry “Slim” Johnson, Donnie Garrett and Beans & Greens Breakfast Club.
Survivors include Wife, Mischa Gibbs Vaughn; Daughters, Barbara (Curtis) Summers of Albertville and Teresa Vaughn of Centre; Sons, Michael (Melinda) Vaughn, Lee (Dianna) Vaughn and Shawn C. Vaughn all of Centre; Sister, Shirley Boman, Centre; Brother, Thomas Vaughn, Haleyville, AL; 18 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.
Mr. Vaughn was a native of Cherokee County, Retired Grocery store owner and school bus driver, the son of the late Lee Roy and Ethel Julie Weaver Vaughn and of the Baptist faith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Unit of Cherokee Health and Rehab or to your favorite Charity or Church of your choice.
