Mr. Davis Clifford “DC” Barfield, Sr.,age 80 of Centre, passed way Thursday, November 19th in Centre.
Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. CST Sunday at Old Nazareth Baptist Church with Rev. Brent Poole and Rev. Josh Bryant officiating the body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Old Nazareth cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 PM CSTuntil 6 PM CST Saturday at Perry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include John Cornelius, Jon Cameron, Scott Jones, Nick Julson, Jason Barfield, Reed Barfield, Johnny Neyman, JonathanCoatney.
Survivors include sons, Davis Clifford (Robin) Barfield, Jr. of Rome, Ga, Lee H. (Victoria) Barfield of Centre, Robert Allen Barfield of Cartersville, GA, Kyle Barfield of Centre; daughters, Cynthia “Cindy” (Tim) Jones of Woodstock, GA, Gaye Barfield of Centre, Kasi (David) Danford of Centre; sisters, Gloria Ball of Kennesaw, GA, Revonda Mullis of Marietta, GA, Janice Patterson of Woodstock, GA; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Barfield was a native of Cobb County, GA, the son of the late Claude Clifford and Annie Dee Davis Barfield and he was a member of Old Nazareth Baptist Church.
