Mr. Dewey Frank Miller, Jr., age 81 of Centre, passed away on Tuesday, January 26th at his residence.
Funeral services will be 1:PM Saturday, January 30th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Craig White officiating; burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:PM Friday.
Pallbearers include Sgt. Zachary Miller, Eli Miller, Chris White, Craig White, Tim Miller, Mark Bryant.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Waffle King and BBQ Place & More friends and family.
Survivors include his son, Frank (Becky) Miller of Centre; daughters, Mary Braud of Huntsville, Amy (Kevin) Nixon of Centre; brother, James Miller; three grandchildren Sydney Braud, Sgt. Zachary (Taylor) Miller and Eli Miller.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Hunter Miller and grandson, Ethan Miller.
Mr. Miller was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Dewey Frank and Dixie Clifton Miller, Sr. and he was a retired Maintenance supervisor at the Cherokee County Highway Dept.
Memorials may be made to the Ethan Miller Memorial Scholarship Fund at CCHS or the family will accept flowers.
