Mr. Edward Roy Steele, age 55 of Gaylesville, passed away on Wednesday, December 30th at his residence.
Funeral services will be 1PM Sunday January 3rd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Steele and Rev. Adam Cothan officiating, burial will follow in theUnity Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Eddie Crane, Alan Early, Randy Crane, Justin Barnes, Jonathan Shook, Jamie Jones.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Womack Steele; son, Chris Steele of Gaylesville; daughter, April Poss of Lincoln, AL; parents, Roy and Thelma Steele of Gaylesville; sisters, Vera Jones of Ft. Payne, Phyllis Smothers of Cedar Bluff, Windy Stone of Gaylesville; special sister, Diane Ashley; grandchildren, Sean Poss, Austin Poss, Addison Steele, Maggie Clowdis, Chase Clowdis.
Mr. Steele was a native of Cherokee County and he was of the Baptist faith.
