Mr. Ernest “Hal” Sewell, age 56 of Leesburg passed away Saturday, September 1st at his residence.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday, September 4th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Farley, Rev. Clay Richardson and Tom Wolf officiating, burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Jerrod Latham, John Mike Sewell, James Sewell, Ben Foshee, Andrew Jones, Isaac Jones, Micah Chesnut, Justin Culbert, Jacob Wolf and Eli Wolf. Honorary Pallbearers, Game Time friends and Tool and Die Department, Cousins and all personal friends.
Survivors include wife, Marcia Sewell of Leesburg; sons, Paul (Beth) Sewell, Luke Sewell and Matt Sewell all of Leesburg; brothers, Gary (Kathy) Sewell of Leesburg, Mike Sewell of Leesburg; sister, Karen (Alex) Smith of Trussville; mother, Betty Sewell of Leesburg; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Sewell.
Mr. Sewell was a native of Cherokee County and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Shiloh-Bothwell Cemetery Fund.
