Mr. Jeffrey Gordon Holderfield age 50 of Leesburg passed away Wednesday June 12th at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Holderfield will be 1 PM Saturday at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12 PM until the hour of the service. Mr. Holderfield is survived by his Step- Children; Brandon Statts of Gadsden, Stephanie (Adam) Maroney of Attalla, Brothers; Andy (Jennifer) Alverson of Southside, Barry (Betty) Alverson, of Kansas, Sisters; Tammy (Jimmy) Hatley of Gadsden, Christy (Ramon) Ramierez of Texas, Jessica (Jim) Farmer of Attalla, Cindy (Tim) Wood of Gadsden, Step – Grandchildren; Allie Rogers, Brooklyn Maroney, Hannah Maroney, Allison Maroney , Halle Maroney, several nieces and nephews and special friends Ted Elrod, Frosty, and Tony Chandler. Mr. Holderfield was preceded in death by his wife Bobbie Keener Holderfield. Mr. Holderfield was a native of Stuben County, New York the son of the late James Jefferson and Mary Ruth Alverson Holderfield and was a member of North Highland Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Perry Funeral Home is directing.
