Mr. Jimmy Lewis Jones, age 66 of Piedmont, passed away on Saturday, October 24th in a Birmingham Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11:AM Tuesday, October 27th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. James Ward and Rev. Thomas Ward officiating; burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:PM Monday.
Pallbearers include Jason Cain, Dan Jones, Ben Jones, Jerry W. Mobley, Nathan Pope, Danny Pope.
Survivors include sons, David W. Jones and Eric C. Jones, both of Spring Garden; mother, Nellie Jones of Spring Garden; brothers, Johnny Rousseau of Spring Garden, Jerry Jones of Piedmont, Randy Jones of Centre, Robert Jones of Spring Garden; sister, Debra Goss of Spring Garden; several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, George L. Jones.
Mr. Jones was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late James H. Jones, was an Air Force Veteran, he was a mechanic at the Anniston Army Depot and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
