Mr. Johnny Hunter age 54 of Centre passed away February 26 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Friday, February 28 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mark Mayo & Rev. James Wells officiating: burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 P.M. Friday.
Pallbearers will be members of the Spring Creek Fire Department.
Survivors include wife, Glenda Acrey Hunter of Centre: sons, Jonathan (Denise) Hunter of Blountsville, Al., Charlie (Lauren) Hunter of Cedar Bluff, Mack (Toni) Hunter of Centre, Joesph (Criston) Hunter of Centre: daughter, Debra (Kevin) Wilson of Centre: brothers, Jimmy Qualls of Cedar Bluff, Randy (Pam) Hunter of Locust Fork, Al.: sisters, Kathy (Tony) Molino of Anniston, Pat Brooks of Texas, and half- sister, Sherry Rogers of Gadsden: 15 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandchild. Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother Junior Hunter.
Mr. Hunter was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Charlie & Faye McCurdy Hunter and was of the Baptist faith.
