Mr. Michael “Mike” Gary Geimer age 53 of Centre passed away Tuesday, March 26th at his residence.

A memorial service will be held 2 PM Saturday, March 30th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 PM Saturday at the funeral home.

Survivors include wife, Connie Leonard Geimer of Centre; special friends, Rick & Lisa Flores of Los Angeles, Ski & Kim Malinowski of Centre, Lisa & Scott Osborne of Boaz and Debbie & Lynl Shaw of Cedar Bluff; father-in-law, Jimmy Leonard of Menlo, Ga.; brother-in-law, Michael Leonard of Menlo, Ga.; mother, Mary Fitzgerald of Los Angeles; sister-in-law, Rebekah Shaw of Cedar Bluff; special cousins, Samantha & David Geimer of Kilauea, Hi.; nieces and nephews, Jessica & Earnesto Velazquez of Los Angeles, Jacob Flores of Los Angeles, Noah Malinowski of Centre, Tori & Abby Andrade of Centre, Max Andrade of Centre, Jenna Shaw of Cedar Bluff, Noah Leigh Spears of Cedar Bluff, Sadie Jo Spears of Cedar Bluff, Watson Shaw of Cedar Bluff ; home health nurse, Heather Bobbit.

Mr. Geimer was born in Los Angeles. He was employed by Gadsden State Community College Cherokee. He was a wonderful husband of 22 years. He loved his animals, friends and traveling. Among his favorite places to travel were Disney World, New Orleans and Boston. He had a special love of the Boston Red So. He will miss you all and he will miss being bossed around by his wife. He had a wicked sense of humor and will be missed.
