Mr. Ricky Dale Smith age 56 of Centre passed away Sunday October 18th at Floyd Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Wednesday October 21st at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Rainey officiating, burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until 3 PM Wednesday.
Pallbearers include Camp Reese, Joey Walsh, Michael Bishop, Roy Latty, Jarrett Thomas and Bryan Russell. Honorary Pallbearers include Josh Smith, Jacob Smith, Colt Walsh, Ryan Wilson and Seth Gordon.
Survivors include wife, Kathy Smith of Centre; daughters, Kelli (Steven) Weeks of Centre, Kascha (Jarrett) Thomas of Easley SC., Ericka Smith of Centre, Khol Smith of Centre and Kruz Smith of Centre; brother, Eugene “Deaner” (Belinda) Smith of Centre; sisters, Virginia Walsh of Cedar Bluff, Ann Watkins of Gadsden, Janice Wilson and Lela Griffith both of Centre; 8 grandchildren.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his brothers, Houston, Fred and Mack Duke.
Mr. Smith was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late Vaster and Corine Steele Smith.
In lieu of flower memorials may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
