Mr. Ricky Ray age 54 of Centre passed away Sunday May 18th at his residence.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Wednesday May 21st at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Pollard and Rev. Eugene Burgess officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 P.M. Tuesday at the Church.
Pallbearers include Gary Givens, Patrick Walker, Danny LeCroy, David Morgan, Tommy Minnix, Casey Young, Keith Tolbert, Glen Garmon & Jimmy Sewell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack’s Breakfast Club.
Survivors include wife, Sherri Ray of Centre: sons, Skylar (Kayla) Ray of Centre and Kyle (Jennifer) Acker of Leland, Ia.: daughter, Anna (Brandon) Reynolds.: Mother, Mary Ruth Ray of Centre: Grandchildren Libby Ray and Ryan Ray and Special cousins Randy & Janet Tucker.
He was preceded in death by his father Harold Gene Ray.
Mr. Ray was a native of Cherokee County, retired school teacher and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Ricky Ray Scholarship Fund or the family will accept flowers.
