Sylvin O’Dell Williams, age 75 of Gaylesville. Passed away Wednesday, October 2nd at his residence.
Memorial service will be 1:PM Saturday, October 5th at Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Cosby officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:AM until 1:PM Saturday at the church. There will also be a memorial service 2:PM Sunday, October 6th at Clearview Baptist Church in Travelers Rest, SC.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Taylor Williams; sons, Scott (Terrie) Williams of Spartanburg, SC, Charles (Fonda) Hayes of Morgantown, WV, Anthony (DeAnn) Hayes of Hokes Bluff, AL; daughter, Cindy Williams of Greenville, SC; brothers, Larry Williams of Travelers Rest, SC, Morris (Pat) Williams of Travelers Rest, SC; sisters, Wavelene (James) Surett of Travelers Rest, SC, Marilyn (Gary) Truett of Piedmont, SC; 2 grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; special thanks to New Beacon Hospice.
Mr. Williams was a native of Greenville, SC, the son of the late Melvin O’Dell and Mary Terry Williams and was a member of Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Salvation Army.
