Mr. Tommy Lee Barron, Jr., age 37, 465 County Road 796, Gaylesville, AL, passed away Monday, February 17, 2014.

            Mr. Barron was born in Floyd County on June 28, 1976, son of the former Regina Elrod and Tommy Lee Barron, Sr.  He was a diesel mechanic and was employed with Valley Diesel in Rising Fawn, GA for several years.  He was of the Baptist faith.

            Survivors include his daughter, Miss Brooklyn Barron, Cedartown; 2 sons, Tommy Lee Barron, III and Elijah Barron, both of Trenton; his mother, Mrs. Regina Montroy, and her husband, Ron, Gaylesville, AL; his father, Tommy Lee Barron, Sr., Rome; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Betty Bishop, Rome; 2 sisters, Ms. Lacey Lockwood, Lindale, and Ms. Christy Barron, VA; a brother, Cody Barron, Rome; a special aunt, Ms. Elizabeth Elrod, Gaylesville, AL; nieces and nephews also survive.

            Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at 11am ET at the graveside in Cedar Bluff Cemetery, Cedar Bluff, AL.  The Rev. Jamie Hutcheson and the Rev. Danny Tucker will officiate.

            The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Tuesday morning from 9 until 10am.

            Pallbearers will include Calvin Wingo, Cody Wingo, Michael Beck, and Wayne Beck.
