Mr. Truman E. Norton age 81 of Centre passed away Sunday July 10th at his residence.
Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Wednesday July 13th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Smith officiating, burial will follow in Calcedonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. until 3 P.M. Wednesday.
Pallbearers include Tony Walsh, Eric Norton, Shannon Hurston, Tommy Leonard, Tony Wilke, and Jeff Grimes.
Honorary Pallbearers include Paul Byers II and Rodney Slayton.
Survivors include daughters Sherby Norton of Centre, Trudy Walsh of Centre; brothers Jack Norton of Centre, Harvey (Dora) Norton of Centre; a sister Margaret (Roland) Ryan of Brandon, MS; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Norton was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Ira and Bessie Trotter Norton, and he was of the Baptist faith.
