Mr. Vernon Sylvester Womack, age 88, of Cedar Bluff, passed away Saturday October 16, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Womack was born October 23, 1932, in Canton, Ga. a son of the Thad Womack and Minnie Lee Adams. He was a member of Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church, Coosa Lodge #622 F Mr. Womack was retired from State of Georgia DOT, and veteran of the United State Army.

Survivors include wife, Joy Mills Womack, a son Dean (Maureen) Womack, daughter, Cindy Womack, three grandchildren, Michael Womack, Taylor Womack, Gordon Womack, and 3 living brothers, along with several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. (CST) Thursday October 21, 2021 at Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church, with Rev. Mark Cosby, officiating.
