Mrs. Betty Lee Puckett age 76 of Centre passed away Monday December 29th at Cherokee Manor.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Providence Cemetery with Kenneth Decker officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a son, Russell Puckett of Phoenix City; daughters, Elaine Davis, Wanda Ivey, LeeAnne Norris and Belinda Miller of Sand Rock and Carrie Miller of Phoenix City; brothers, James Haney and Donald Haney of Stone Mountain, GA and Roy Haney of White Plains; sisters, Shirley Dawson and Lavane Gilbert of Centre, Eva Puckett of Newnan, GA, Mary Ann Parker and Shelia Haney of Sand Rock; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother; Albert Haney and great grandchildren, Gracen Goodnight and Dallas Rollins.
Mrs. Puckett was a native of Bartow County, GA, the daughter of the late Bill and Effie Collie Haney, was a CNA with Cherokee County Nursing Home, then retired from Dixie Green.
