Mrs. Christopher Lee Minton Daniell of Centre, Alabama passed away on Saturday, May 1st, 2021 at the age just shy of 60, in Montgomery, Alabama. She was born on May 12th, 1961 in Blytheville, Arkansas.

Funeral services will be 12:PM Friday, May 7th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel; Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:AM until 12:PM at the funeral home.

Chris was preceded in death by her father Jerry Lee Minton, mother Jean Adams Minton, son Joshua Lee McDuff, beloved husband Rodney E. Daniell, grandmother Dessie Gaynelle Holland Pettyjohn, Nelle Adams, aunt Marion Lonette Minton Lorren (Nett), and uncle Melvin T. Lorren (Bud).

Chris is survived by her daughter Melissa Ann McDuff, three grandsons Liam Marcus Eubanks and Alex Gavin Scott McDuff, stepsister Alicia Groover, stepbrother Wayne Groover, stepmother Ruth Minton, cousin Jennie Lorren Brown (Joey), and nieces, nephews, friends, and other family members.

Chris was a loving mother, grandmother, and devoted wife. Chris was an animal lover and she loved cooking and spending time with her family and friends. When Chris was younger, she was a wonderful singer, great with horses, and she was a fantastic rider.

Her great-grandmother was a full Cherokee, and Chris looked very much like her. Chris was very proud of that and her heritage.

Chris will be greatly missed and remembered fondly. She would want us to cherish life and loved ones, and to always remember life’s good moments.
