Mrs. Doris Laverne Waddell, age 76, of Centre, passed away Sunday November 25th at Riverview Regional Medical Center.
Graveside service will be 1 P.M. Wednesday, November 28th at Hebron Cemetery with Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating.
Pallbearers include Jeff Rosser, Jeremy Gill, Eddie Murray, Casey Murray, Corey Murray, Clint Johnson.
Survivors include son Wayne (Janice) Waddell of Centre; daughters Carol Glenn of Centre, Gay (Eddie) Murray of Piedmont; brothers Jerry Gill of Rome, GA., Sonny Gill of Centre, Don Gill of Centre, Allan Gill of Centre, Travis Gill of Centre; sisters Joan Rosser of Centre, Peggy Lambert of Centre, Glenda Godfrey of Cave Springs, GA., Sherry Lambert of Centre; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Billy Wayne Waddell and brother Gary Gill.
Mrs. Waddell was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Joseph and Christine Twilley Gill; and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
