Mrs. Dorothy Mae Morgan age 85 of Centre, passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at Cherokee Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 3:PM Wednesday, December 3rd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Eddie Nation officiating; burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3:PM Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of Gleaners Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Jack Morgan, Sr; sons, Jack Morgan, Jr. of Centre, David (Jennifer) Morgan of Centre, Michael Morgan of Elmore; daughters, Carol (Jim) Alldredge of Birmingham, Elaine (Chris) Patty of Talking Rock, GA; grandchildren, Jeremy Clasen, Candy Morgan, Evan (Lauren) Morgan, Lee Morgan, Forrest Patty; great grandchildren, Lucas Morgan, Liam Morgan; several nieces & nephews.

Mrs. Morgan was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Lee Henry and Mamie Casey Shurbutt and was a member of Centre First Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Centre First Baptist Church General Fund.
