Mrs. Jeanette Moon age 88 of Centre passed away Wednesday February 24th at Cherokee Health & Rehab.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday February 27th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David McCarrell officiating, burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Friday.
Pallbearers include Darrell Hill, Dirk Hill, Bart Gowens, Michael Gowens, Sandy Gowens and Dale Gowens.
Survivors include sons, Tony (Gerri) Moon of Piedmont and Billy (Lynn) Gowens of Cartersville, Ga.; daughters, Sylvia Lambert of Centre, Cathy (Roy) Galloway of Cartersville, Ga. and Judy (James) Shook of Cave Springs, Ga.; brothers, Edward (Helen) Gowens of Centre and Travis (Helen) Gowens of Sand Rock; sister, Joan (Guy) Hill of Piedmont; 6 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Moon was a native of Cleburne County and the daughter of the late June Esco and Pluma Lee-nora Surrette Gowens.
The family will accept flowers or donations can be made to a favorite charity.
