Mrs. Karen Elizabeth Arbaugh Garmon age 53 of Hokes Bluff, Al. passed away Wednesday May 21st at UAB Hospital.
Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Saturday May 24th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Nation officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:30 P.M. Saturday.
Pallbearers include Children & Grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Patrick Garmon; sons, Shawn (Cortney) Garmon & Brian Garmon; daughter, Kathleen Garmon: step-children, Yvette Garmon, John (Elaine) Garmon, & Maureen (Ryan) Garmon; mother, Elizabeth Arbaugh; brother, Jerry (Janny) Arbaugh: sister, Janet Phillips: Grandchildren, Caden, Brodie, Bella, Jordan, Taylor, Elise, Patrick, Celia, Brittany & Christopher: 1 niece & 3 nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Gerald Allen Arbaugh.
She was a native of North Carolina, a member of Centre First Baptist Church, the Lena Snead Sunday School Class and the Blairtown Homemakers Club. She served as an administrative assistant at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL and LTV Aerospace in Dallas, TX before moving to Hokes Bluff. She also served as the Media Clerk at Timber Creek High School.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Ovarian Cancer Society or Centre First Baptist ROC (Recreational Outreach Center)
