MRS. LAURA LOUISE GRIMES, age 77 of Gaylesville passed away Thursday April 25 at Floyd Medical Center.

Graveside services will be 3 P.M. Friday at Randle Cemetery with Rev. Emory Tallent officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jessie Turner, Kane Mitchell, Jeremy Shutters, Troy Simpson, Timmy Bradley, and Taylor Chesnut.

Survivors include: Sons, Ricky (Paula) Mitchell, Cedar Bluff, David (Merita) Mitchell, Blanch, Dale (Jerri) Mitchell , Piedmont , daughters, Sherry (Jessie) Turner, Collinsville, Debra Mitchell, Gaylesville, brothers, Emory Tallent, Summerville, David Tallent, Whorton, sisters, Geneva Payne , Weaver, Wanda Downey, Ball Play. Four Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Grimes was a native of Cherokee County, daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret Ashworth Mitchell, was a retired Textile Worker and of the Baptist Faith.
