Mrs. Lois Howell, age 100 of Centre, passed away Thursday January 15th at Cherokee Health and Rehab.

Funeral services will be 3:PM Saturday, January 17th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ben Hogan, Rev. Mark May and Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating; burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3:PM Saturday.

Pallbearers include Billy Joe Baker, Ken Woodall, Tim Griffith, San Ray, Joe Nowak, Randy Baker, John Bates, Billy Williams, Ken Nix. Honorary Pallbearers will be Buddy Howell, Jay Howell, Johnny Howell, Bill Turner, James Gilliland, Billy Baker, Jim Davis, Roger Gossett.

Survivors include daughter, Clemmie Howell (Bobby) Baker of Centre; grandson, Steve Baker of Centre; several nieces & nephews; best friend & hairdresser, Diane Tillery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Howell; sister, Willadean Ritchey and grandson, David Baker.
Mrs. Howell was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Clem T. and Pluma Griffith Ritchey and was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to the Fairview Cemetery Fund or the family will accept flowers.
