Mrs. Margaret Hillhouse age 86 of Centre passed away Thursday August 16th at Floyd Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Saturday August 18th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Nation, Rev. Melvyn Salter and Dr. Lynn Hillhouse officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2:30 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include husband, Glenn Hillhouse of Centre; daughters, Patricia (Ron) Jackson of Centre and Lynn (Deb) Hillhouse of Centre; brothers, Lamar “Al” Squires in Rome, Ga.; grandchildren, James Carter, Randy Carter and Angie Bohannon; 9 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Hillhouse was a native of Calhoun, Ga. and the daughter of the late Clarence Alson and Ella Mae Harmon Squires and a member of First Baptist Church of Centre.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Squires.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cherokee County Library.
