Mrs. Mary Sue Giles age 88 of Collinsville passed away Friday September 7th at Floyd Cherokee Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Sunday September 9th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Hosey and Jason Lee officiating, burial will follow in Sand Rock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include David Hufstetler, Ricky White, Jason lee, Nathan Lee, Daniel St.Clair, Dustin St.Clair, Adam Battles, Bert St.Clair and Slade St.Clair
Survivors include Daughter, Susan (David) Battles of Sand Rock; brothers, Leon (Elaine) Hufstetler of Collinsville and Ledon (Patricia) Hufstetler of Sand Rock; sister, Brenda (Bill) Jeffery of Pisgah; grandchildren, Amy (Bert) St.Clair and Adam (Kristi) Battles; great-grandchildren, Brylie, Slade, Timothy, Titus and Boden; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur “Bill” Giles and sister, Betty Jones.
Mrs. Giles was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late Calvin and Ada Robertson Hufstetler and a member of Sand Rock Baptist Church.
