Mrs. Mildred Lee Edwards 79 of Leesburg passed away Sunday March 8th at Kindred/Floyd Medical Center.
Funeral services for Mrs. Edwards will be 3: PM Wednesday March 11th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Forgey officiating. Entombment will follow at Cherokee Memory Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends 1: PM until the hour of the service.
The family will receive flowers or memorials may be made to the Cherokee County Humane Society.
The family of Mrs. Edwards will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by her husband George “Bug” Edwards, sons; George “Bug Jr” Edwards Jr of Gadsden, Donnie (Elaine) Edwards of Leesburg, grandchildren; Chad (Leslie) Edwards of Leesburg, Michael Edwards of Gadsden, Megan Edwards of Leesburg, great- grandchildren; Alyssa Edwards and Brittany Edwards both of Leesburg, several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Edwards was a native of Chattanooga, TN the daughter of the late Dewey and Lilly Mae Reno and was a homemaker.
