Mrs. Peggy Rose Lockridge Pearson age 85 of Cedar Bluff passed away Sunday January 4th at Cherokee Medical Center.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pearson will be 11: A.M. Wednesday January 7th at Cedar Bluff First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tim Kendrick officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Bluff Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10: AM until the hour of the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cedar Bluff First United Methodist Brown Bag Ministry or Scholarship Fund.
Peggy was born July 15, 1929 in Gadsden to Homer and Bernice Rose Lockridge.
She was a graduate of Gadsden High School, Gadsden State Community College and Jacksonville State University. She was a retired first grade teacher, and was a member of Cedar Bluff First United Methodist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother, Doyle Lockridge; husband of 56 years, Forrest Pearson; sons, Donald Lee Pearson and Jon Forrest Pearson.
Mrs. Pearson is survived by several nieces, nephews and Godson, Kyle Wilson.
Pallbearers will be Bill Lockridge, Mike Lockridge, Scott Godfrey, Dr. Myron Wilson, Billy Hugh Sanders, Bradley Shankles, Jay Lutenbacher, William H Eubanks, Jr, Dr. Alan Pearson, and Phillip Pearson.
