Mrs. Vera Belle Carver age 89 of Leesburg passed away Wednesday May 6th at Cherokee Health and Rehab.

Funeral services for Mrs. Carver will be 3: PM Saturday at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Whisnant officiating. Burial will follow at Hunts Chapel.

The family will receive friends 1: PM until the hour of the service.

Pallbearers are friends and family. Honorary pallbearers are Elbert Wells and Dr. Clint Allen, Cherokee Health and Rehab Staff ,and ALA Care Hospice.

Mrs. Carver is survived by her chosen son; Larry Fuller of Leesburg, brother; Ralph Calaway of Gaylesville, sister; Bertha Reynolds of Centre, and a number of special nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; R.B. Carver.

Mrs. Carver was a native of Cherokee County the daughter of the late William and Lilly Wilson Callaway and was of the Pentecostal faith.
