Mrs. Vera Faye Moon, age 95, of Centre, passed away Friday May 19th at Cherokee County Health and Rehab.
Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Sunday May 21st at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chip Smith, Rev. John Allen, and Rev. Leon Smith officiating; burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. Saturday May 20th.
Pallbearers include grandsons.
Survivors include sons Harry (Betty) Moon of Centre, Larry (Vickie) Moon of Centre, Paul (Pat) Moon of Decatur, Tommy (Beverly) Moon of Centre; daughters Sandra (Bob) Montgomery of Leesburg, Nancy (Hollis) Steed of Centre; 20 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren ; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Moon and granddaughter Heather Moon.
Mrs. Moon was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Albert and Viola Holcomb Bradley, and she was a member of East Centre Baptist Church.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to East Centre Baptist Church.
