Mrs. Verdie Sylvia Bone, age 85 of Centre, passed away Wednesday at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 3:P.M. Friday at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Guttery officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:P.M. until the funeral hour at 3:P.M.

Pallbearers include Danny Bone, Jimmy Bone, Robert Bone, Kevin King, Todd Glenn, and Derik Bone.

Survivors include her husband, James D. Bone; son, Darrell (Carol) Bone of Rockhill, SC; brothers, L.C. King of Piedmont, Carwell King of Centre; 2 grandchildren Derik (Nicole) Bone and Todd (Laura) Glenn; 1 great-grandchildren, Mary Madison Inzerillo and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bone was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Reuben and Pearl Kisor King. She was a member of the Parker’s Grove Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cherokee Hospice.
