Ms Annie Ruth Highfield age 90 of Centre, passed away Thursday January 18. She was a native of Cherokee County, member of Providence Baptist Church, daughter of the late William Clifford and Georgia Roxie Lambert Highfield and was retired from Intergrated Products.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM Sunday at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Highfield officiating burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens, Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Highfield is survived by son, James William {Janice } Deaton of Centre, Sister-in-law, Willene Highfield,four grandchildren, Stephanie Burkhalter of Rome and Bryan Deaton of Centre, Peyton and Brodee Deaton of Centre; Great grandchildren, Kenzie Pierce and Marissa Pierce, several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

She is preceded in death by Brothers, Norton “Snooks”, Norman “Buster”, John “Sambo” and Marvin “Shorty” Highfield, Sisters, Mary Lee Abernathy and Betty Jean Lee.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
