Ms. Haney Fortenberry Naugher, age 88 of Centre, passed away Monday at Cherokee Health & Rehab.

Funeral services will be held 1PM Thursday at Shiloh Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Shiloh-Bothwell Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12PM until 1PM at Shiloh Baptist Church.

Pallbearers include: Calum Naugher, Josh Martin, Keith Slater, Ryan Childs, Brandon Hawkins, Kevin Jennings, George Eubanks, and Jason Eubanks.

She is survived by her son, Brent (Beverly) Naugher of Ft. Payne; daughters, Connie Swafford of Rainbow City, Rhonda (Larry) Slater of Cotaco, AL; brother, Jerry Fortenberry of Trion, GA; sister, Joyce Leavitt, Cape Coral, FL; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Naugher was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Lige and Nora Whitten Fortenberry and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
