Ms. Mildred Buel Norris, age 77, of Sand Rock, passed away Wednesday December 16th at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Saturday December 19th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Scott Hosey officiating; burial will follow at Sand Rock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 PM to 3 PM Saturday.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Survivors include sons Eddy (Gina) Norris of Tuscaloosa, Scott (Donna) Norris of Sand Rock; daughter Julia (Randy) Smith of Sand Rock; brothers Wyman Buel of Woodbridge, VA, Lonnie Buel of Hokes Bluff; grandchildren Noah Smith, Julie Kimberly, Haley Wadsworth, Drew Norris, Riley Norris, Jordan Norris, Ashley Norris, Paige Norris; great grandchildren Jaxon, Mary Grace, and Katie Kimberly, Matti Ruth Smith, Conner Wadsworth.
Ms. Norris was a native of Etowah County, the daughter of the late Milton and Erma Metcalf Buel, and was a member of Sand Rock Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sand Rock Baptist Church building fund.
