Murder Case For A Centre Man Bound Over To A Cherokee County Grand Jury

Preliminary Hearings were held on Friday for a 51 year old Centre man charged with Murder.

Vester Lee Randolph appeared before Cherokee County District Court Judge Wes Mobley on Friday afternoon. Following a brief proceeding Judge Mobley bound the case over to a Cherokee County Grand Jury.

Randolph is being charged with killing 66 year old Curtis Junior Bright of Centre back on Tuesday, January 16th at Midway Towing at Powell Drive and Cedar Bluff Road in Centre. 

Centre Police Investigator Leigha Blake arrested Randolph on charges of Murder, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance.

Randolph is being held in the Cherokee County Detention Center on a $511,000 bond.
