Improvements being made at the Centre City Park continue, although Mayor Tony Wilkie had some bad news for the city council during a recent meeting.
Vandals damaged one of the new door casings the same day it was put up.
Unfortunately, this is not the only instance in which city property is having to be replaced.
As we previously reported, someone stole steel metal grates belonging to the city.
Those grates have been ordered and measures will be taken to ensure they are not stolen again.
Of course, if you see anyone stealing or damaging city property, notify the authorities.
The vandals are costing YOU tax dollars.
