Little River Canyon National Preserve is excited to announce that the fantastic new playground at Canyon Mouth Park is fully complete and ready to be enjoyed.

Members of the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Cherokee, and the Friends of the Preserve joined the National Park Service in a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday at Canyon Mouth Park.

Featuring numerous slides, swings, and activities, this new playground is already a hit with visiting youth. What could make it better? The playground features a ramp into the playground, another ramp onto the playground structure itself, and a swing specially designed to accommodate those with disabilities!

Park officials say that they hope the new playground brings as much joy to those who use it as it does to us to provide it.
