Football fans of all ages are gearing up for NFL Flag Football in Cherokee County.

Cherokee County Commissioner Kimball Parker and area businessman Kevin Green were in the WEIS Radio studios Thursday morning to talk about the highly-anticipated return of the youth flag football program.

Commissioner Parker gave a little background on how NFL Flag Football became part of the county’s game plan:

NFL Flag Football is open to children from kindergarten through sixth grade; and, kids from outside the county are also welcome to take part. Registration is slated for August 13th and 14 and 20th and 21st at the ROC in Centre.

Saturday’s 9:00am – 12:00 noon and Sundays from 2:00 – 4:00pm.
