One Person Injured In Two Car Crash North Of Cedar Bluff On Monday

One person was reportedly hurt in a two-vehicle mishap occurring early Monday afternoon on Alabama Highway 9 in Cherokee County, with one of those vehicles leaving the roadway, and rolling over onto its side.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report logged the wreck as taking place on 9, between County Roads 80 and 115, at approximately 12:45pm. 

Those involved included Centre resident Jonathon Woodall, driving a 1999 Jeep and a 2003 Ford being driven by David Maples of a Lafayette, Georgia address. 

Maples was listed on the report as being hurt, however no additional information regarding the extent of his injuries was available.

The Cedar Bluff Fire Department, Floyd EMS, and the Cherokee County Rescue Squad, along with Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene.

That wreck remains under investigation by state troopers.
