Emergency crews responded to the scene of a two vehicle accident on West Main Street in front of the First Southern State Bank in Centre on Thursday afternoon.
Involved in the accident were 54 year old Gregory Owens of Leesburg and 39 year old Brandon Allen of Centre. Owens was driving a 2010 white Dodge Van, while Allen was driving a 2000 Mazda B2500 pickup. They were both checked and released from the scene by Floyd EMS. There was also a passenger in the Dodge van who was checked and released as well.
The Centre Police and Fire Department also responded to the scene, that accident occurred just after 12:00 p.m.
