There was a two vehicle accident occurring on Alabama Highway 9 near the Cedar Bluff Bridge just before 4:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
It appears that no one was injured in the mishap. Traffic was blocked for a short period of time while Cedar Bluff Police worked to gather information.
The mishap involved a Ford work type van that rear-ended a Ford truck being driven by Cherokee County EMA Director Shawn Rogers.
