Northwest Georgia Man Sentenced to Prison Following Admission of Guilt in Child Molestation Cases

A Trion Georgia man has been sentenced in Chattooga County Superior Court to 13 years in prison after he admitted to molesting children.  He is the same man who was convicted last year for groping an employee at CVS in Summerville.

Sixty-eight-year-old Terry Lee Coleman was arrested in December of 2018, after Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader said he was accused of child molestation.

At the time of Coleman’s arrest the sheriff stated, “We can release that the allegations are of inappropriate contact with several children under 14 years of age.”

At that time, Coleman was charged with Child Molestation and Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes.

He was found guilty of sexual battery in the incident involving an employee at CVS on Rome Boulevard. State Court Judge Jon Dennis banned Coleman from entering the pharmacy after his conviction.  Judge Kristina Cook Graham sentenced Coleman to prison after he admitted to molesting a 12 year old and an eleven year old.
