Numerous Auto Accidents Reported Across Cherokee County On Saturday

Emergency crews were kept busy on Saturday across Cherokee County responding to a number of accidents throughout the day.

There was a reported ATV accident at the Indian Mountain ATV Park on County Road 185 between County Road 8 and County Road 126 in Spring Garden.

A single vehicle left the causeway on Alabama Highway 9 between Centre and Cedar Bluff crashing through the guardrail and coming to rest at the entrance to the state docks. Centre Firefighters and Alabama State Troopers responded to that scene. Fortunately the driver was not injured.

There was a two vehicle accident reported just prior to 6:00 p.m. on Alabama Highway 9 near Neely Street in Cedar Bluff. It appears there were no injuries in that mishap.

A multi-vehicle accident with injuries occurred on the Chesnut Bypass at the Fishing Hole Restaurant just before 11:00 p.m. Saturday night.

According to reports one of the vehicles overturned.

The Centre Police, Centre Fire Department, Floyd EMS and Rescue Squad personnel responded to that scene.
