One Arrested on Drug Charges; One Still Being Sought

On Thursday of last week (September 7th) – Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver along with Deputies and Investigators and Leesburg Police Officers executed a search warrant, coming at the end of a lengthy drug investigation.

The warrant was executed at a residence on Highway 68 in Gaylesville, during which drugs were recovered from the scene including methamphetamine and marijuana; as a result two individuals had warrants taken for distribution charges – 46 year old Terry Van Inman and 32 year old Joshua Hardin, both of Gaylesville.

Inman was taken into custody and transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center on charges of the Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance, two counts of the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, in addition to Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree.

Hardin is wanted for Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance.
