One person was killed in a two vehicle accident Friday afternoon in Dekalb County.
According to accident reports from the Alabama State Patrol, a 2006 Dodge Stratus collided with a 2010 Chevy Tahoe about four miles north of Collinsville on I-59.
The driver of the Dodge, identified as 43-year old Miguel Gonzalez of Cleveland, Tennessee was fatally injured.
The driver of the Tahoe, identified as 71-year old Jean Ownby of Seriverville, Tennessee, was not injured.
The wreck occurred at around 1:50 Friday afternoon and remains under investigation by the State Patrol.
