One person was hurt in a single vehicle accident on Highway 75 near Harton’s store shortly after 5:30am Tuesday.
According to Cedar Bluff Fire Chief Shawn Rogers the vehicle rolled over and the driver had to be extricated by members of the Cedar Bluff Fire Department & Cherokee County Rescue Squad.
The driver, listed on the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report as Mike Pruitt – age 42 from Gaylesville was transported by Cherokee EMS to Floyd Medical Center in Rome for treatment.
That report indicated that Pruitt was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident.
