One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on the Bypass Thanksgiving Night

The accident report has now been released on a two-vehicle wreck occurring Thanksgiving night in Centre. 

According to the Centre Police Department that crash, taking place at the intersection of the Chesnut Bypass and the Cedar Bluff Road, was logged at 7:12 that evening, involving a 2003 Chevy Silverado driven by 65 year old James George of a Cartersville, Georgia address – and a 2010 Ford Fusion, driven by Nara Taing, age 27 of Guntersville.

The impact of the crash caused the Silverado to roll over before coming to rest right-side up – leading to the driver being taken to Floyd Medical Center by Cherokee EMS for treatment; the driver of the Fusion was unhurt.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Centre Police Department.
