One of Floyd County’s “Most Wanted” is Now Behind Bars

A man on the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office “Most Wanted” list is now in custody.

29-year old Scotty Michael Craig of Lindale was arrested Friday at a location on Corson Trail.  Craig was being sought on warrants charging him with the sale of methamphetamine, trafficking meth, conspiracy to violate Georgia’s Controlled Substances Act, and use of a communications facility to commit a crime involving drugs.

He is accused of conspiring with another to purchase 28 grams of meth back in April and then conspiring to sell meth in March.  Craig is also accused of fleeing from police during a traffic stop for a seat belt violation back on January 14.
